Why Dr. Bee?
It’s a nod to my surname — but it’s also much more than that.
I work at the intersection of human health and environmental sustainability, and so do bees. They are essential to our food system, our ecosystems, and the health of the planet. When bees thrive, everything else does too.
Bees also learn from each other and share knowledge across the hive. That’s exactly what I do. I help people understand how the choices we make in our homes — from the products we use to the air we breathe — affect both our bodies and the world around us.
What’s healthy for you should also be healthy for the planet.
That’s the heart of everything I teach.
